Reviews
A small ramen restaurant with not so many seats. We visited on Sunday noon, and it’s pretty empty.
The restaurant is specialized with spicy noodles. My husband tried mild and I had the pork done soup with level 2 spicy. Level 2 is not spicy at all to me. The soup is rich, and the noodles are on the thin side.
The only thing I don’t like is the meat in the noodles. It is very fatty and tastes a bit cold inside. I cannot eat second bite.
We also ordered the appetizer sampler, I like the fired dumplings and fried chicken a lot.
We came in on a Saturday around 430 PM. Although it was packed, they gave us a 5 minute wait time and we were quickly seated soon after. It is quite tight if you sit at the stool near the window, but it has a nice atmosphere.
We got the miso broth ramen and spicy vegan ramen. Both were very delicious and filling. I loved the noodle texture! Next time, I'd probably go with a traditional tonkotsu broth.
Perfect on a rainy or cold day!
Always consistently delicious! Had spicy ginger ramen recently and asked for a minimum amount of spice and it was great. So even if you normally don’t eat spicy food, ask for the minimum and it’s quite delicious
Really quaint spot. Great Tonkotsu; on top of that, they give you the option to chose your spice level which is not usual in a ramen spot. The vegan ramen wasn’t our favorite but they have a spicy curry vegan ramen bowl that looked really delicious. Other than that, ramune and sapporo to go with everything. Definitely keeping this spot in mind when in the area.
This is really good. The Ramen was really yummy and they are able to make adjustments. I gave four because the prices are really high Roman especially when you have the add-ons. Also, they have a B in their ratings so I would love to see them get up to an a.
what an amazing ramen place in the city.
one of our fried recommended this place, since their broth is out of this world.
we reached around closing time but luckily got a seat.
had their tonkotsu - level 4 spicy and spicy black tantanmen - level 5.
their spice level is good and noodles are best.
Is a must try in NYC.
Small space, decent price, quick service!
Overall good ramen place! I personally went with level 3 spicy but I would recommend going 4, 3 was not spicy at all.
The service was great, the employees are pretty nice. Not exactly going to change your life in terms of flavor but it is tasty nevertheless.
Small and casual place to get ramen from the people behind Mr. Taka’s. Specializes in spicy ramen but has a selection of usual fare. VERY flavorful. Loved it!
